MC Truck & Bus Makes Significant Investment In It’s Burgess Hill Dealership
MC Truck & Bus has recently completed a significant investment in its dealership premises in Burgess Hill, Sussex, by acquiring the adjacent building, and expanding the current 5-bay workshop into an 8-bay workshop, providing additional servicing and administration facilities.
Apart from the increase in service bay capacity, MC Truck & Bus has also installed a new inspection pit, relocated and expanded its Parts Department to the new building and built new Service and Parts offices at the front of the building.
MC has further planned to introduce full in-house tachograph calibration facilities by the end of 2019.
“Burgess Hill has grown considerably over the last six years. By significantly increasing the overall footprint of the site, we can continue to provide the high level of service to our customers that is associated with MC Truck & Bus, whilst also growing the business levels in the future,” said Nigel Brooks, Aftermarket Director.
Under the direction of General Manager, Lee Darch, MC’s Burgess Hill dealership currently has a staff in excess of 40 in total, covering full sales service and parts support for both Volvo Trucks and Isuzu Truck UK customers on the south coast, ranging from Chichester in the West to Hastings in the East.
In addition to the newly extended workshop facilities, the Burgess Hill dealership also operates mobile breakdown and service vehicles for on-site work at customer promises, as well as running four dedicated parts vans delivering parts to customers on a twice daily basis.
