Explaining the decision to switch back to Volvos, Graham Young, joint MD at Cranleigh Freight Services said, “Although we have been 100% DAF for the last 10 years, we are now looking to multi-brand our fleet. For this fleet change, we took the decision to add new Volvo tractor units this time, using MC Rental, with whom we have always had a good relationship over the years.”
Graham continues, “In the past we have acquired many trucks for our fleet from MC Rental before and they have always provided us with an excellent service, so we had no qualms confirming this 4-tractor unit deal with them for the latest fleet addition programme.”
Cranleigh Freight Services was established in 1977 to provide quality transport services to Europe and has become one of the South East’s premier logistics providers. CFS offers a full range of transport services to Europe, Nationwide UK pallet distribution and Warehousing facilities
“It is reassuring when long established customers such as Cranleigh Freight Services make a welcome return to MC Rental and MC Truck & Bus after a 10 year absence and we are really looking forward to working with them over the working life of these new Volvo tractor units,” said Steve Moon, Truck Sales Director, MC Truck & Bus.
