The Volvo FH Aero Electric is a fully electric heavy duty truck. It is built for regional and long haul work. The truck produces zero tailpipe emissions and delivers strong performance. A Practical Step Towards Decarbonisation

- Charging time of around 2.5 hours with a 250 kW DC charger
- Three electric motors with up to 666 hp
- 2,400 Nm of continuous torque
In addition, the I-Shift gearbox delivers smooth and responsive driving.
How far can the Volvo FH Aero Electric travel?
This Volvo can travel up to 300 km on a single charge. However, range depends on load and driving conditions. The truck also uses regenerative braking, which recovers energy during use. This helps extend the overall range.
Smart Design for Efficiency and Safety
The FH Aero builds on Volvo’s latest aerodynamic design, helping to reduce drag and energy consumption. Improved free-rolling capabilities also allow energy to be regenerated during braking and downhill driving, extending usable range.
Safety and visibility are enhanced through Volvo’s Camera Monitoring System (CMS), which replaces traditional mirrors. This system improves the driver’s field of view and adapts automatically when manoeuvring with a trailer, making it particularly beneficial in busy port environments.
