MC TECHNICIAN WINS VOLVO APPRENTICE OF THE YEAR
Winning streak continues for MC Truck and Bus with another prestigious award scooped this year. Ryan Fisher received the Volvo Apprentice of the Year at the annual Apprentice Awards ceremony, held this year at Stevenson College in Leicestershire.
Based in the company’s Maidstone branch, Ryan started the apprentice program with MC Truck and Bus 4 years ago. He studied and worked alongside qualified technicians learning all the necessary skills to succeed in the industry. This mix proved to be the winner ticket for Ryan, whose hard work and dedication paid off, being recognised across the whole Volvo Trucks UK dealer network.

MC has produced more Apprentices of the Year over time with John Walker winning one of the first awards and Lewis McKay being recognised back in 2015. They are still working for the company adding value to the service offering. At the moment the company has up to 30 apprentices and is committed to find more talent to develop.
Described as ‘The best and most advanced truck manufacturers’ Apprentice Programme in the UK’, the Volvo Apprentice Academy was inaugurated in 1995 and it produced over 650 apprentices to date.
