INTRODUCTION OF 67 REGISTRATION MARKS BUSY MONTH

September 1^st sees an update of the vehicle registration plate, from prefix 17 to 67, which means brand new vehicles headed onto the road. MC Group has a range of new trucks headed to work, either directly to customers or joining the rental fleet.

MC Truck and Bus, dealing with new truck sales will see over 60 trucks going into action in this period, an increase of 30% from the same time last year. MC Truck and Bus Sales Director, Steve Moon, says “September is showing an encouraging result despite overall registrations looking set to be down year-on-year. The exchange rate continues to put pressure on costs which the industry is having to consume. Despite this there are still encouraging signs that there is still demand.”

MC Group has a range of new trucks headed to work, either directly to customers or joining the rental fleet.

Vehicles going on the road include tractor units, construction vehicles and distribution vehicles, marking a diverse and busy period. It is a good month for the seemingly popular 8×4 Volvo FMX, even with the uncertainty of the London visibility standard, which has still not been announced. “The amount of industries we are serving is another positive sign for us” adds Steve Moon.

The new registrations also play a part at MC Rental, which will see in excess of 100 vehicles added to the fleet throughout the period and available for immediate use. With the average age of the MC Rental fleet at 21 months, new additions of varying makes and models play an important role.

With the flurry of activity teams across the company from sales to PDI have been working tirelessly to ensure vehicles are ready to roll and customers are delighted with their new joiners.
